1. Introduction

KossLabs ("we", "our", or "us") operates MOQ & Order Limits Engine ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle merchant information when you install and use our App on your Shopify-powered store.

2. What Information We Collect

We believe in strict data minimization. The App collects only the minimum technical data necessary to provide its core service:

Shop Information: Your store domain (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com) and an authorized OAuth access token used to communicate with the Shopify Admin API.
App Configuration & Rules: The minimum order quantity (MOQ) rules, step increments, maximum purchase limits, and custom display settings you configure within the App dashboard.

No Customer PII Collected: The App does not collect, track, or store your shoppers' personally identifiable information (PII), such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, or payment details.

3. How We Use Information

The information collected is used solely to:

Authenticate your Shopify session and provide the App administration interface.
Synchronize and execute order limit rules via native Shopify Functions (WASM) during checkout.
Display customizable warning badges and quantity steps on your storefront product pages.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your store configuration only as long as the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, or when a mandatory Shopify GDPR shop/redact webhook is received, all associated configuration rules, settings, and authentication sessions are permanently purged from our database.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any merchant data with third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or external entities.
